Always firm favourites of mine, the mystical (and some say telepathic) Aleem twins gave Leroy Burgess the mic in 1979 and this initiated a series of collaborations which would last well into the '90's. Of the 5 or so different mixes released of 'Hooked On Your Love" (originally on the Aleem's Nia label) we have chosen the version by LA super-mixer, the criminally passed-over Rick Giantos. One of disco's hardest working knob twiddlers (in-house for the AVI, Panorama and Airwave labels). Giantos provides a truly smooth mix of one of the Aleems' best tunes.
