Leroy Burgess is one of the most criminally underrated artists on the whole black music scene. He has been one of the most prolific but consistently high quality artists since the start of the 70's. In his career he has worked with a huge array of artists, and yet released strangely few records under his own name. This site attempts to chronicle the life and works of the man with the uniquely identifiable voice and instantly recognisable keyboard riffs.
